Retreat and Defeat Video Released
This is sure to touch a few nerves.
After Drudge heralded the pending release of this video, I envisioned something much more acerbic. Don't get me wrong, it's sufficiently hard-hitting. But it's also remarkably fair, even constrained, in its characterization. All it does it showcase prima facie evidence of these anti-war Democrats' policies and characterize such policies as "retreat and defeat" (and, by implication of the white flag, as surrender).
So before Dean, Boxer, Kerry, Murtha, Pelosi, and their ilk release their faux-forlorn statements of wounded dismay and of disappointment in the petty partisan attacks of the GOP, I defy any of them to explain how a policy of immediate (or as soon as practical) withdrawal differs from surrender.
