Miners' Notes Recovered

Very sad.

I don't know if the recovery of these notes was of comfort or further distress to the families of the Sago Mine victims.

Meanwhile, survivor Randal McCloy Jr. remains in what seems like a grim, though not hopeless, coma in a Pittsburgh hospital.

The note pictured (full size), said to be written by Martin Toler Jr., appears to read:

Tell all I see them on the other side, Jr.  It wasn't bad.  I just want to sleep. I love you.
