Unrequited Love of Free Markets
Mary Katherine Ham over at HughHewitt.com just penned a post with the saddest title I've ever read:
Especially tormenting is her closing of the tragic piece with, "But I still love you, free market."
Given the toneless limitations of a text-based medium, it's hard to tell if that line is appropriately understood as quiet, touching anguish or econo-stalker speak for "Hell hath no fury like a capitalist scorned."
Someone drop by Milton Friedman's house tonight just to make sure he's all right.
