New York's Ned Lamont, You're Wanted On Set

If we're to believe Kos and Michael Moore, a candidate of whose finally eked out a victory, it seems a no-brainer that any Democratic incumbent who wants to keep his or her job as of the next primary challenge had better have strong anti-war credentials, lest they be dislodged Connecticut-style.

I assume, therefore, that the unapologetically hawkish Hillary Clinton will be the next to go.  The people-powered netroots that squared off to tear down Senator Lieberman, one of their very recent party standard-bearers, have demonstrated the unanimity of opposition to the liberation of Iraq, not to mention the inexcusability of supporting it.  Certainly, they'll be equally motivated to tear down Senator Clinton in next month's New York primary, right?

If so, here's their next insta-hero, Jonathan Tasini, a suit no emptier than Ned Lamont, and a suitably dovish successor to that bloodthirsty Clinton.  Behold his peace-cred as he dives at Mr. Lamont's coattails:

On the question of the war, support for devastating pro-corporate policies such as NAFTA and so-called “free trade,” Joe Lieberman and Hillary Clinton have the same world views. Hillary Clinton is trying to obfuscate her position on the war. Let us be clear: she voted for the war and continues to support the occupation of Iraq, which has killed 2,500 of our young men and women in uniform and tens of thousands of Iraqis. I believe in the safe, immediate withdrawal of our troops.

Hillary may have had a good run, but if we listen to the new Democratic voice, the message is clear:

To every Democratic Senator and Congressman who continues to back Bush’s War, allow me to inform you that your days in elective office are now numbered. Myself and tens of millions of citizens are going to work hard to actively remove you from any position of power.

Whaddaya say, Kos?  You claim the Democratic party is "a party with purpose. United on the war (under the call for withdrawal from Iraq)..."  Surely you won't allow such a fringe-dwelling party rogue to hold her seat when a bastian of pacifism like Tasini is ready and waiting for your people-powered embrace.
