Rightroots Growing Like a Weed
The Rightroots project, the right side of the blogosphere's answer to Net/Nutroots (which is currently befrenzied over its hatred of Joe Lieberman (see previous post)) has come out of the gate swinging with both barrels blazing like a bat out of hell.
In the few days the project has been underway, it's hauled in more then $28,000 for its endorsed House and Senate candidates, plus $14,000 in matching funds pledged by blog booster extraordinaire Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA).
But perhaps the most telling sign of the project's insta-relevance is the overnight transmogrification of one of its principals, blogger Mary Katherine Ham, into a beguiling cartoon icon (see here and here). I know you're impressed that I knew her back when she was a mere live-action type.
Check out ABC PAC for Rightroots-endorsed candidate bios or to make your contribution.
