Al Qaeda Getting Walloped In Iraq

Michelle Malkin has a round-up of the delightful news pouring out of Iraq which Anna Nicole's death will crowd out of any meaningful coverage tonight.

On any other day, this story's got it all:  airstrikes, destroyed safehouses and training camps, captured terror leaders, dozens of dead jihadis, and one vexed Speaker of the House who denies the existence of al Qaeda in Iraq.

In fairness, Steve Egg points out that the story wasn't likely to make much of a mainstream splash anyway, as no American helicopters appear to have been shot down during the campaign.

Update:  Allah has more on these early surge dividends.

I could've also pointed out that it doesn't meet the presstitute template of Al Qaed...(oops, they're not in Iraq according to the presstitutes) unnamed insurgents winning, but that would be redundant.
