Lots of spelling news to get to today.
Kudos to 13-year-old spelling champ Evan O'Dorney, the 2007 Scripps Spelling Bee champion. I caught all of 5 minutes of the competition, but I did get to see his moment of victory with the word "serrefine". Kid knows his medical forceps. (Better than my blogging software, anyway, which declares it misspelled.)
And snickers at the Clinton backdrop team for dropping this high-profile ball.

The speech may have been about job creation, but I have a feeling some Clinton staffer may be dusting off his or her own resume tommorrow.
