Jim Ogonowski Narrowly Loses in MA-5
While a disappointing loss after coming so tantalizingly close (Ogonowski was leading earlier in the evening with about 50% of precincts reporting), this was nonetheless an incredible performance in a Congressional district that went to Kerry by large double digits in 2004 in a state that has no Republican representation in Congress.
With 100% of precincts reporting, Niki Tsongas won the seat by the unexpectedly small margin of 51-45.
